The bathrooms are the cleanest of any state park we’ve stayed in. The park is five miles south of Paradise on M-123 where the Tahquamenon River flows into Whitefish Bay on Lake Superior. Lower Falls Campgrounds: Modern Hemlock and Portage Loops. Our campground is just down the street from Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, and the Tahquamenon Logging Museum, and within an hour or so from Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, and Kitch-iti-kipi.
